This is the inaugural posting for my first ever ‘Digital Vegetarian Blog’. It was inspired by this page – www. kronis . org which I no longer have and would like back some day. Feel free to check it out in the wayback machine!

My name is Aaron Stanley Kronis and I do SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in Los Angeles for a great PPC Marketing company called Wpromote.com while playing as much music as much as I can and working on many projects and charity events. Hmm… Why Digital Vegetarian?

Well I was having a meeting with several like minds in Burbank and someone mentioned something about a person who <begin nerd> converted and mp3 file to an OGG file, from 96kbps to 256Kpbs.

\*now for those who don’t care or get this – most mp3s are 128kbps, but once you convert it to 96kpbs, then back to 128kbps it will still sound like the 96kbps file*\

This bloke’s reasoning was something about being ‘open source oriented’. I said what the hell are you a Digital Vegetarian?

and hence this name – > now the funny thing is that when I bought the domain we had been ‘working late’ and I spelled it incorrectly however so does everyone else. so digitalvegitarian.com is mine too… along with .tv, .net…etc…. thus I quickly set up the 301 redirects to accommodate!

I’ll be in Vegas to study some more SEO techniques at the Webmaster World (PubCon) conference, should be very interesting to see all the SEO superstar bloggers, ah but can they PLAY guitar? Probably, I would think a lot of these folks are very talented in many aspects of the world… but who’s listening?

Recently I was in San Diego at TOORCON who I supported by purchasing a Toorcon t-shirt and then promptly losing it.

So far in Los Angeles, I’ve performed several times at some parties and a couple interesting venues. I had the opportunity to perform 3 songs with Paperback Hero at the Universal CityWalk in June. I was lucky to share my Line6/Mesa rig with veteran guitarist Ben Carey(Savage Garden/Lifehouse).

I joined Unraveled in May and our first show at the Whiskey a Go Go on Sunset Boulevard is this Friday November 16th. On halloween we performed at a party in costume with UNRAVELED – I’ll let the picture describe it for you!

Jesse(bo peep), Kung Fu(cat in the hat, behind Mike Z in the Tutu), John(was a really scary werewolf until he tried to play), Aaron as ‘Leeloo’ -Milla Jovovich’s character from the movie The Fifth Element. Several fantasies were ruined, but perhaps some new ones created!
