So I just watched the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Phoenix Suns again, and

I don’t care that Steve Nash Is Canadian.

I’ve been a Laker fan since I was in Toronto pre-Raptors. We HAD no NBA team… so I think its fair.

Anyways, I heard an interesting thing about Twitter and the NBA Playoffs on KROQ the other morning.

Some fans are using tweets to start ‘specific’ chants during the games….

i.e. they threatened to tweet ‘No Means No’ when Kobe is at the foul line. I’m not worried. He’ll sink them.

I thought this was an interesting idea, the problem is that not everyone will be following…or looking at their phones as they’ll be busy watching the game, but this could blow up if properly promoted.

Its scarily powerful what you can do using social media!
