My Next Car – Electric – and FAST. New TESLA Funding from US Government / Obama

I’ve been watching Tesla Motors for some time now. Being in California so close to their first dealership in Santa Monica has kept me anxiously waiting to see when these cars will be in production. The ‘ROADSTER’ by Tesla Motors is an Electric Car.

So without getting really political, it would seem to me that the previous administration was more about making money from oil, and the current administration doesn’t have that goal, thus has seen the ‘light’ and rather than bailing out every auto maker they are going to help fund new initiatives such as Silicon Valley’s Tesla Motors who now have already gone to market with their Roadster which has ZERO torque and is (so i’ve heard) faster than a Lambourghini. Ahh, but can I drive it in the carpool lane? it has zero emissions….officer?
